.22 Rifle shooting
This is a testing discipline that can be shot at either 25 or 50
metres. The bullseye targets are small and challenging and the event
stresses precision, accuracy and concentration. It is suitable for men
and women from the age of 12 and above. Each shooter will get 50 rounds
of ammunition with at least 3 target changes. The event is shot from a
prone or rested position with bolt action .22 rifles using optical and
diopter sights and normally takes 2.5-3.5 hours to shoot and allows up
to five to ten people to be shooting at the same time with personal
supervision.
Advanced shooters may choose to shoot our
carbine class which is shot with semi-auto .22 carbines modeled after
the current military style arms you see in the movies.
.22 Revolver shooting
This discipline entails shooting at 25 m with a revolver similar to
what the police constable uses. In fact this event is used by the
schools to train their National Police Cadet Corps members in shooting
skills. Each shooter will get 50 rounds of ammunition with at least 3
target changes. Targets may include silhouette targets, robber targets
and other semi-realistic shapes. The event stresses accuracy and
discipline and requires a little arm strength as the shooting is mainly
done standing up. It is suitable for both sexes from 12 years and
above. Revolver shooting events normally take 3-3.5 hours to shoot and
allow up to five people to be shooting at the same time with personal
supervision.
9mm pistol shooting
This is the ultimate buzz! Shoot this event and pistols made famous by
Hollywood such as the Beretta M9 (92f), Glock 17, Sig P226, CZ 75 and
others. The event is shot at 10-15m at stationary targets that may be
either silhouette or police style. Each shooter will get 50 rounds of
ammunition with at least 3 target changes. The event stresses accuracy
and discipline and requires both hand and arm strength as shooting is
done standing up and pistol recoil may be stout but is managable. It is
suitable for both sexes from 18 years and above. Pistol shooting events
normally take 3-3.5 hours to shoot and allow up to five people to be
shooting at the same time with personal supervision.
Advanced shooters may ask for our IPSC
classes which teach you the basics of shooting to time and of various
target presentations including poppers, plates and other reduced sized
targets.
Corporate events range from $175 per head to $300 per head depending on
the customized program.
